Cirrus is seeking qualified and passionate individuals to join its LED Grow Lights Ambassador Program.
Individuals accepted into the Ambassador/Affiliate will represent Cirrus LED Grow Lights in digital and real world marketing opportunities. Ambassadors are responsible for establishing and sustaining distribution points for marketing materials, brand awareness, and business relationships to strengthen our presence with hobby and commercial growers, industry influencers, and retailers. You will be the face of Cirrus at various field marketing events, on the street, and at industry events.
In addition to performing ambassador tasks, the individual will receive an affiliate commission for any and all product purchases made as a result of direct contact with the ambassador. Through the use of our online portal, ambassadors will be able to acquire marketing assets, manage and track referrals, and communicate with the Cirrus LED Grow Light team.
Agreement Period: 6 months, with opportunity for extensions based on need and performance.
The position is important in building brand awareness for Cirrus LED and its line of LED grow lights in local industry events and communities and requires a candidate who is motivated, has knowledge of the industry, and is able to distribute marketing materials to hydroponic shops and horticultural suppliers. The role requires strong organization skills, experience with spreadsheets, great people skills, and ability to spend 4 hours each week traveling to, and establishing marketing material distribution points in the target areas.
Brand Ambassador will spend 8-12 hours each month distributing stickers, gear, and marketing materials to relevant individuals, groups, clubs, and businesses. This includes establishing distribution points, regularly refilling materials at distribution points, and attending industry events.
Specific functions and responsibilities:
– Receiving shipments of Cirrus marketing materials and displays from Cirrus Marketing Department;
– Going door-to-door to identify shops, businesses, and organizations to be distribution points for the marketing materials;
– Introducing yourself and the Cirrus brand to businesses and request approval to place marketing materials in strategic, high-traffic locations;
– Point out key features to gatekeepers and industry influencers;
– Distribution of Cirrus LED window decals, stickers, and other gear;
– Log all successful encounters in Google Drive spreadsheet;
– Monitor and refill marketing material holders as needed;
– Represent Cirrus at relevant local industry events;
– Bring energy, creativity, and hustle to each encounter.
Success for a brand ambassador includes working with key businesses, organizations, events, and other touch points in the industry to grow the Cirrus LED brand in the local communities.
Other responsibilities are installing marketing materials and ensuring that materials are placed strategically in businesses and high-traffic points in the territory.
Cirrus LED Brand Ambassadors must:
Be at least 21 years old
Be responsible, high energy, outgoing and reliable
Have a valid driver’s license
Have knowledge of the area and identify key businesses
Have knowledge of grow lights and grow experience
Have the ability to travel door-to-door to businesses for 8-12 hours/month, one day per week, for agreement period.
